Push The Boat Out

With Jackie Kay

In partnership with Push The Boat Out, Edinburgh's International Poetry Festival, we are welcoming award-winning poet and writer Jakie Kay on board for a special evening event. Enjoy readings, stories, and a glass of fizz on arrival.

Since her first collection, which won the very first Forward Prize thirty-five years ago, the former Scots Makar has for decades written eloquently about love and the grief which is its obverse. The poems in her new Selected Poems range widely through time and space, and history, but all share the distinct devotional aspect which has always characterised Jackie Kay’s work.

Doors will open at 6:45pm – join us early for a complimentary glass of prosecco before the reading begins at 7:30pm.

Tickets: £18.38 - £20.95 per person
